IFU provides an additional EUR 7 million to the Ouro Branco and Quatro Ventos wind complex in Brazil due to project expansion and delays.
The wind farm, built by European Energy with Vestas technology, now features 21 turbines producing renewable energy for the Brazilian grid. Originally financed by IFU's Green Future Fund, disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic and the Suez Blockage led to delays, prompting the additional funding. The wind farm, now equipped with larger 4.5 MW turbines, generates around 400 GWh annually.
