EGCO, a Thai Independent Power Producer, has invested in the Boco Rock Wind Farm (BRWF) by acquiring a 100 per cent equity interest from Asia Pacific Renewables Limited principally owned by Continental Wind Partners, the developer of the wind farm.
 
Boco Rock Wind Farm shall initially have an installed capacity of 113MW. The amount invested by EGCO Group is approximately A$ 110 million or 3.2 billion Baht. BRWF is located approximately 160 kilometres south of Canberra. 58 GE 1.7MW wind turbines and 9 GE 1.6MW wind turbines will be installed at the wind farm. The project entered into a 15-year power purchase agreement with EnergyAustralia Pty Ltd. with a expected commercial operation date in February 2015.
