From left to right Rody Kemp Eneco Jasper Ellens and Nikolas Claaß Deutsche Windtechnik Daan von Rooijen Eneco Geert Timmers Deutsche Windtechnik and Eric Arkesteijn EnecoEneco has appointed Deutsche Windtechnik as its new maintenance partner for the Prinses Amalia wind park, located about 25 kilometres off IJmuiden in the Dutch North Sea. The partnership will begin in January 2026 and continue until the wind farm reaches the end of its operational life.

Operational since 2008, the Prinses Amalia wind park comprises 60 Vestas V80 turbines with a total capacity of 120 MW. Deutsche Windtechnik will provide on-site maintenance and troubleshooting, supported by dedicated staff and resources for engineering, tools, spare parts, and back-office services. Maintenance priorities and requirements will be jointly managed by Eneco and Deutsche Windtechnik from their shared facilities in IJmuiden.
