FairWind has secured a contract from Vestas to deliver the full installation scope for 44 turbines at the Sanquhar II Wind Farm in Scotland. Sanquhar II, spanning Dumfries & Galloway and East Ayrshire, is an extension of the existing Sanquhar onshore wind farm.
The project, Developed by CWP Energy, is expected to begin operations in 2027 and, once fully operational, will generate around 1.2 terawatt hours of electricity annually.
