First wind turbine spinning at Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm

Ørsted has delivered the first power from its offshore wind farm, Gode Wind 3, to the German grid. The Siemens Gamesa turbines at the offshore wind farm will have a capacity of 11 MW each.

 

In total, Ørsted will install 106 wind turbines in the German part of the North Sea for its two offshore projects under construction, Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3. Combined, the two offshore wind farms will have a capacity of more than 1.1 GW.
