GE Renewable Energy just announced another key project with customer Continuum Green Energy in India. The signed agreement includes the supply, installation and commissioning of 37 units of GE's 2.7-132 onshore wind turbine for the Rajkot wind farm in Gujarat.
The 99.9 MW wind farm is an addition to a previously announced project between GE Renewable Energy and Continuum Green Energy for the installation of the 148.5MW Morjar Bhuj wind farm. Product design will take place primarily at GE’s Technology Center in Bengaluru, and the blades will be manufactured in GE’s plants in Vadodara and assembly will be done at the GE Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility in Pune.
