Envision Energy has been awarded a 2,000MW wind turbine order in India by an unnamed customer. The 596 wind turbines, all manufactured in Envision's India factory, will be delivered by the end of 2023.
Envision will supply and commission its EN156/3.3 wind turbines for the projects. The turbine has a capacity of 3.3MW, a 156m rotor and a hub height of 140m. The company is ramping up to double the output of its turbine facility in Pune, India and are building a blade factory to be completed by Q1 of 2023.
