North Stars Grampian Tweed Masters Michael Dodd and Juan A. Escribano flank North Star CEO Gitte Gard Talmo ABPs CCO and regional director Julian Walker and KamalNorth Star has officially named and handed over its latest service operations vessel (SOV), Grampian Tweed, completing its fleet of dedicated ships serving Dogger Bank Wind Farm on a long-term charter. Grampian Tweed is the fourth SOV introduced to support Dogger Bank Wind Farm.

Its naming ceremony took place at Associated British Ports (ABP) Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility, attended by representatives from North Star, Equinor, SSE Renewables, and local stakeholders. Once fully operational, Dogger Bank Wind Farm will have a generating capacity of 3.6GW.
