The Turkish Güris Group has ordered wind turbines from Siemens for three new wind power projects scheduled to be built in Turkey.
 
The total scope includes delivery of the new turbines and a five-year service agreement for the three new projects. Siemens will deliver 53 wind turbines with direct drive technology for new onshore wind power plants in Mugla, Edirne-Tekirdag and K?rklareli with a total capacity of 165MW. Commissioning of the projects is expected between late 2014 and summer 2015. The Fatma wind farm in Mugla will contribute a capacity of 77 MW with 25 gearless wind turbines. The Zeliha wind farm in Kirklareli in conjunction with the Kanije wind farm in Edirne-Tekirdag will have a generation capacity of 88 MW with a total of 28 direct drive wind turbines.
