The Nordex Group has received orders from Canada for 74 N163 turbines with a total capacity of 500 megawatts (MW). These orders also include a service agreement for the maintenance of the turbines, which will last between 15 and 30 years.
The company plans to supply the machines as cold climate variants between 2025 and 2026. Additionally, the turbines will feature the Nordex anti-icing system for rotor blades. The names of the customers and the wind farms involved have not been disclosed.
