Nordex has received an order for 56 MW from Qualitas Energy Deutschland, part of Qualitas Energy, for the Wippershainer Höhe wind farm in Germany. The contract covers the supply and installation of eight N163/6.X turbines mounted on 164-metre hybrid towers. It also includes a 20-year service agreement.
The wind farm will be built near Bad Hersfeld in Hesse. Installation of the first turbine is scheduled for summer 2027, with commissioning expected by the end of 2027. Wippershainer Höhe forms part of Qualitas Energy’s German portfolio, which exceeds 3 GW and comprises more than 100 projects.
