Nordex has received new orders from Westfälisch-Niedersächsische Energie for the supply and installation of 12 N175/6.X wind turbines in Germany. The turbines, each with a hub height of 179 metres, will be installed across three projects in the Höxter district of North Rhine-Westphalia. The combined capacity of the orders is 82 MW.
The contracts also include a 20-year service agreement for the turbines. The turbines will be installed at the Dringenberg project with seven units, Gehrden Ost with three units, and the Gehrden Fölsen extension project with two units. Construction work is scheduled to start in mid-2027.
