Ocean Winds and Martifer Renewables & Energy have announced their strategic partnership to jointly participate in Portugal's first tender for offshore wind farms, set to take place this year.
As the industry anticipates the final criteria for the tender, Ocean Winds and Martifer are preparing proposals, including national suppliers and infrastructures, aligned with national objectives to support Portugal's energy transition goals.
Ocean Winds is a 50-50 joint venture by EDP Renewables and Engie. Martifer began its activity in 1990 in the metallic structures sector. Listed since 2007, it is a global industrial group operating in the areas of metallic constructions, naval industry, and renewables and energy. Martifer Renewables & Energy positions itself as a developer of renewable energies, mainly focusing on wind and PV solar projects.
