Pfisterer is delivering turnkey cable systems for the BorWin4 and DolWin4 offshore grid connections to Siemens Energy. The company is responsible for the complete implementation of the 66 kV alternating current (AC) cable infrastructure, linking the gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), transformer, and submarine cable connection on the DolWin4 and BorWin4 platforms.
The project includes planning, engineering services, installation, and project management. BorWin4 and DolWin4 are expected to become operational in 2028, approximately 125 kilometres northwest of the island of Borkum in the North Sea.
