The Ministerio de Industria Turismo y Comercio (MITYC), through its institution Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDEA), is giving the public free access by internet to the Wind Atlas of Spain, which can be consulted from 23 July using a ‘Geographic Information System’. The Atlas will allow users to evaluate the available wind energy all over the national territory and the Spanish offshore area. The tool has been developed by Meteosim Truewind. The Wind Atlas will be available at www.mityc.es, www.idae.es. and http://atlaseolico.idae.es

juwi plans to set up its first large-scale wind farm on US soil in southeastern Nebraska. With its total capacity of 60MW, this installation will be the largest wind project that juwi has ever undertaken.
