RP Global has reached financial close for the 123.9 MW Wałcz wind farm in Poland. The wind farm is located in Wałcz County in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in north-western Poland and recently entered the construction phase.
The company has secured a €174 million unitranche facility from Eiffel Investment Group to finance construction of the project. Greenberg Traurig acted as legal adviser to RP Global, while the lender was advised by Clifford Chance on legal matters and by Wind Prospect on technical matters. The project will comprise 21 Nordex N149 turbines and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027.
