European Energy and TotalEnergies have deployed three vessels to conduct seabed surveys for the planned Jammerland Bugt offshore wind farm, situated between Kerteminde on Funen and Kalundborg on Zealand, Denmark.
The vessels will collect data on seabed shape, geological composition, and overall conditions in designated areas for the offshore wind project. Kerteminde and Nyborg on Funen will serve as base ports until the surveys conclude in August, after which the results will be analysed to inform further planning.
The same vessels will also carry out geophysical surveys for the Lillebælt Syd wind farm, located between Sønderborg and Assens, starting in April. Additionally, drone flights from the coast will be used to collect supplementary data.
Jammerland Bugt offshore wind farm will have a capacity of 240 MW and is expected to be operational by 2029.
