Siemens extends Norderhof wind farm in Northern Germany

New additions are coming to the community-owned Norderhof wind farm in the town of Galmsbüll in the North Frisia region on the German North Sea coast.

 

Six more Siemens wind turbines will raise the generating capacity of this onshore wind power plant to 37.7MW. The new installations with 3.MW each will be erected in the late summer of 2014. The extension is scheduled to go on line in September 2014. The contract also includes maintenance of the wind farm for a 20-year period.
