Tekmar Energy has announced that Royal Boskalis Westminster (Boskalis) have selected the TekLink Cable Protection System (CPS) Generation 8 for the Innogy Triton Knoll offshore wind farm.
Triton Knoll is located 32 kilometres off the coast of Lincolnshire and consists of 90 turbines in water depth of 15-21 metres. The project will provide a total of 860MW providing sustainable renewable energy. For the project Tekmar will be providing 196 systems for protecting the array and export cables; bellmouths for the substations; with sister company AgileTek Engineering performing engineering analysis on the project.
