The Nordex Group has received an order to supply and install turbines for the Miejska Górka wind farm in Poland. The order includes 41 N117/3600 turbines, totalling 147.6 MW, to be delivered from the end of 2025. The order also includes a 30-year service contract for the turbines.
The Miejska Górka wind farm will be built in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The Nordex Group will supply the turbines on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 134 metres. The wind farm is scheduled to become operational at the beginning of 2027.
The Miejska Górka project was developed by VSB, an international project developer and operator headquartered in Dresden, Germany. VSB, majority-owned by Partners Group, has sold the wind farm project to Tauron Zielona Energia. VSB is responsible for the infrastructure work, which will begin in 2025, and for an expansion of the wind farm with an additional 12 turbines, increasing the total number from 41 to 53 and bringing the total project size to 190.8 MW.
