Vattenfall and Cemvision have signed a commercial agreement for the supply of near-zero-carbon cement for use in energy infrastructure projects across Europe. The material, Re-ment Massive, will be prioritised through subcontractors for Vattenfall’s onshore wind infrastructure in key markets.
The two companies signed a Letter of Intent in 2024 to develop and supply near-zero-carbon cement, and the new agreement marks the progression of that partnership. Alongside onshore wind, the arrangement creates scope to expand collaboration into other Vattenfall business areas.
