Econergy's French subsidiary Escofi has secured Contracts for Difference (CfDs) for five onshore wind projects in France, with a combined capacity of 102 MW. The awards were made under the French government's latest onshore wind tender (AO PPE2 Éolien Terrestre), accounting for approximately 10 per cent of the total capacity awarded.
Escofi secured awards for the 16.8 MW Camp Thibault, 25.55 MW Colzas, 13.5 MW Flot, 19.2 MW Bertaignemont and 27.2 MW Bronne Sans Souci projects, all located in northern France. All five projects are at an advanced stage of development. The CfDs will provide guaranteed electricity tariffs for 20 years from the start of commercial operation of each project.
