Vayona Energy has secured a firm order from Continuum Green Energy for wind turbines totalling 108 MW for projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan, India. For the Kalavad project, Vayona will supply 10 SG 3.6-145 turbines, each with a capacity of 3.6 MW and a hub height of 133.5 metres.
For the Devikot project, the order covers 20 turbines: 14 SG 3.4-145 units with a hub height of 146 metres and six SG 3.6-145 units with a hub height of 133.5 metres. All turbines have a capacity of 3.6 MW.
Vayona's scope at both sites includes turbine supply, technical field support, commissioning and 20-year operations and maintenance agreements. At Devikot, the company will also provide access to shared power evacuation infrastructure, including the project substation and extra-high-voltage transmission line.
Vayona Energy was established on 2 December 2025, following the acquisition of Siemens Gamesa’s onshore wind turbine business in India and Sri Lanka by a consortium led by TPG Rise Climate and MAVCO Investments. Siemens Energy, the parent company of Siemens Gamesa, retained a 10% minority stake in Vayona Energy following the acquisition.
