Vestas has received an order for V150-4.2MW and V110-2.0MW turbines for a wind project in the U.S. Including previously purchased 2 and 4MW components, the project has a total nameplate capacity of 242MW. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 25-year service agreement.
Turbine delivery will begin in the first quarter of 2020 with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2020. The projects and customer are undisclosed at the customer’s request.
Vestas also received a 268MW order in USA. The order comprises a 95MW project and a 173MW project with V150-4.2MW turbines from the same customer. The projects, including previously purchased PTC components, have a total capacity of 102MW and 198MW respectively. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a multi-year service agreement. Deliveries and commissioning for both projects are expected in the third and fourth quarter of 2020. The projects and customer are undisclosed at the customer’s request.
Further Vestas has receives a 454MW order for V120-2.2MW turbines in USA. The order includes supply and commissioning of V120-2.2MW turbines as well as a 10-year service agreement. Turbine delivery will begin in the third quarter of 2019 with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2020. The project and customer are undisclosed at the customer’s request.
