Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 50 V100-1.8 MW wind turbines for the USA from John Deere for the 90MW Michigan Wind II wind farm in Minden City, Michigan, USA.
Vestas will supply and install 50 x V100-1.8 MW wind turbines. The contact includes delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well as a 10-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2011 and commissioning is expected by the end of 2011.
