Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order from VAPAT for two projects in Spain with a total capacity of 92MW. The company will supply 46 x V90-2.0 MW turbines for the projects Brulles and Los Zapateros, located in Burgos, Spain.
The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system and a 12-year service agreement including the Active Output Management package ‘AOM4000’ for both wind projects. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start in Q3 2011 and the projects are expected to be completed in Q1 2012.
