Vestas has secured two wind turbine orders in Germany and the United Kingdom with a combined capacity of 95 MW. In Germany, Raiffeisen Windpark Saterland placed an order for seven V162-7.2 MW turbines for the 50 MW Erweiterung Ostermoor Nord wind project.
The contract includes a 20-year service agreement. Turbine deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected to start in the second quarter of 2028.
In the United Kingdom, Vestas received a 45 MW order from an undisclosed customer for ten V136-4.5 MW turbines. The contract also includes a 20-year service agreement. Deliveries are planned to begin in the first quarter of 2027, while commissioning is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2027.
