Vestas has confirmed a 50 MW onshore wind turbine order in Germany as part of its first-quarter 2026 intake. The order has been placed by envia Mitteldeutsche Energie for the Börnicke project. The project will be equipped with seven V162-7.2 MW turbines and the contract includes a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2027.
