Wind Works Power orders Nordex wind turbines

Wind Works Power has announced it has placed an order with Nordex USA, Inc. for up to 60 wind turbines for its 100% owned Thunder Spirit project, which will enable the project to maintain eligibility for the federal production tax credits (PTC).

 

Thunder Spirit, located in Hettinger, North Dakota, is a 2-phase wind energy project totalling 150MW. A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for approximately 105MW was signed with Montana Dakota Utilities (MDU) on October 28, 2013.
