Acta Marine has taken delivery of Acta Pegasus, its fourth walk-to-work vessel and a DP2 construction service operation vessel. Acta Pegasus is one of four newbuild vessels under construction for Acta Marine at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey.
The vessel can accommodate up to 135 personnel and is equipped with offshore access and lifting systems, including a 3D motion-compensated SMST gangway and a 3D-compensated crane.
The vessel will sail under the French flag and support offshore wind projects in France. Operations will be managed from Montoir-de-Bretagne.
Acta Pegasus is based on Ulstein’s twin X-Stern hull design. It is equipped with dual-fuel engines capable of operating on marine gas oil or a blend of marine gas oil and methanol, supported by battery energy storage capacity.
Sister vessel Acta Hercules is under construction and is scheduled to enter service in the first quarter of 2026. Two further newbuilds, Acta Gemini and Acta Aquarius, are expected to follow in the second quarter of 2026.
