Cadeler has signed firm contracts with Cosco Shipping Offshore shipyard in Qidong, China, for two new T-class offshore wind installation vessels. The contracts build on Cadeler’s existing cooperation with Cosco Shipping Offshore, which has already constructed several vessels for Cadeler’s newbuild programme.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2030 and 2031, with the total contract value at approximately €805 million. Cadeler secured equity financing for the investment earlier this year. Cadeler is in discussions with clients regarding deployment of the new vessels.
