Kinewell has appointed David Pinches as a Non-Executive Director and Craig Lilford as Fractional Chief Financial Officer. Pinches has 44 years of experience in the business-to-business software sector. A computer science and mathematics graduate from Leeds University, he has held senior technology and commercial roles including Head of Software at Sage, Commercial Director at Scott Logic and Non-Executive Chair at Salesfire.
Pinches was introduced to Kinewell by Mercia following a £750,000 investment from the North East Accelerate Fund earlier this year, managed by Mercia Ventures.
Lilford is a board adviser and commercial leader with senior finance and leadership experience at FTSE-listed companies including Sage Group and RBS Group. His experience includes strategic initiatives, commercial growth programmes and corporate restructuring.
He currently serves as Fractional CFO and board member for several high-growth and venture-backed businesses, providing financial leadership, fundraising support, commercial planning and investor relations.
The appointments strengthen Kinewell’s board as it continues to develop software and engineering solutions for the offshore wind sector.
