Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, together with British International Investment, has announced the launch of North Star, a renewable energy investment platform in India. The platform is designed to support the development of solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage projects across the country, helping to expand clean energy capacity and project delivery.
The initiative is backed by a total investment of up to USD 300 million, with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and British International Investment each committing up to USD 150 million. The platform is also intended to help address funding gaps in the market and support the mobilisation of additional private capital into India’s renewable energy sector.
