Venterra Group, an offshore wind energy services business, has announced that First Reserve has participated as a strategic investor. First Reserve is a global private equity investment firm exclusively focused on industrial, infrastructure and energy businesses.
To represent First Reserve’s interest in Venterra and support its growth, Alex T. Krueger has been appointed to Venterra’s board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Mr. Krueger is President and Chief Executive Officer and joined First Reserve in 1999. He is responsible for the overall management of the firm and sits on its Investment Committees, which are responsible for the supervision of the firm’s investment program and strategy.
