Vestas has announced the appointment of Jakob Wegge-Larsen as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of Executive Management. He is expected to assume the position in the second quarter of 2025, with Rasmus Gram continuing as interim CFO until then.
Jakob Wegge-Larsen joins from DB Schenker, where he serves as CFO and Management Board member. His previous roles include senior financial positions at the Maersk Group, Hamburg Süd, and MSC Denmark. Aged 48, he holds an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK. He will take over from Hans Martin Smith, who departed Vestas in December 2024 after more than 20 years to pursue other opportunities.
