Felix Henseler will succeed Anders Nielsen as Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO) at Vestas on 1 September 2025. Anders Nielsen, who has held the role for six years, will retire from day-to-day management at the end of 2025.
Henseler, most recently Chief Executive Officer of ZF Wind Power, will join Vestas immediately. In his new role, he will oversee the expansion of onshore and offshore manufacturing and further develop Vestas’ wind energy solutions. Nielsen will remain with the company until the end of the year as an advisor to support the handover.
Vestas merged its Technology and Manufacturing divisions in the third quarter of 2024 to form the Technology and Operations unit, aiming to advance industrialisation in wind energy and strengthen its end-to-end delivery capabilities. Henseler will join the company’s Executive Management and report to Henrik Andersen.
