Nearthlab, a provider of autonomous drone solutions, has announced that John Franklin is joining the organisation as a strategic advisor and consultant. John will devise and direct initiatives to expand the company’s footprint across North America.
John brings decades of experience in clean energy. After a storied career as a power plant engineer, John moved into operations management, overseeing the development and progress of large-scale wind power projects that amount to nearly 4,000MW in production capacity. As an Executive Vice President of RWE Renewables, John is spearheading efforts to streamline the rollout of operational and maintenance strategy for the company’s contracted wind assets.
