Ørsted is expanding its US co-headquarters in Rhode Island and has announced the establishment of a new US Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Hub in the state.
Ørsted, which has maintained its co-headquarters in Rhode Island for over six years, will relocate from its longtime office at Exchange Terrace to a larger 17,470-square-foot space at 500 Exchange Street in downtown Providence. The company plans to more than double its workforce in the state in the coming years. Currently, Ørsted employs nearly 100 people in Rhode Island, including those at its regional Operations and Maintenance Hub in Quonset Business Park, North Kingstown.
The expanded co-headquarters in Providence is expected to open this winter and will accommodate both the company’s existing staff and new full-time EPC employees, along with other positions to be filled in the near future.
