Reblade has appointed Andrew Jamieson as Non-Executive Director, strengthening its leadership team as it expands activity in wind turbine decommissioning and blade recycling. Jamieson brings more than 30 years of experience in the United Kingdom renewable energy sector, including senior roles at ScottishPower and involvement in the establishment and leadership of the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult.
Reblade, based in Glasgow, focuses on wind farm decommissioning and blade waste innovation. The company provides turnkey decommissioning services and has developed tools such as the Thalassa Tool, crane lift planning optimisation software and BladeBoard, a structural composite material made from shredded decommissioned blades.
