Rovco and Vaarst are set to hire over 150 specialist roles across their offices in Bristol, Aberdeen, and Edinburgh in the UK by the end of 2025.
Among these, 50 positions will be within Rovco’s sister company, Vaarst, which was launched in 2021. The specialist tech roles at the Bristol headquarters will encompass areas such as machine learning, computer vision autonomy, data, AI, and robotics software engineering.
Additionally, over 100 roles will be available at Rovco’s offices in Scotland, primarily focusing on the company’s hydrographic division, which includes wind farm planning surveys, seabed mapping, and UXO (unexploded ordnance) surveys. Rovco will be recruiting across various areas, including survey, engineering, data processing, and project management. Many of the skills required are directly transferable from the offshore oil and gas industry. Most positions will be onshore and based in Aberdeen, targeting mid-senior level professionals, with opportunities also available at the company’s Edinburgh office.
