Scada International has acquired Next Consult, a company specialising in grid modelling and power system integration. Next Consult will maintain its independence within SCADA International's portfolio.
With its grid modelling, simulation, and integration services, Next Consult supports customers in addressing challenges related to grid integration. Its offerings include grid modelling and simulations, power plant design, as well as energy management and optimisation systems for hybrid plants. Co-founders Jens Due and Erik Bundgaard Poulsen will continue in their managerial roles post-acquisition. Skovgaard Energy, a strategic investor in Next Consult, will no longer hold shares following the acquisition but will maintain its collaborative relationship with Scada International and Next Consult. The transaction is expected to be finalised within the coming weeks.
