Wirescan has secured investment from Adara Ventures, a European venture capital firm specialising in deep technology. Originally developed in Norway at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) by Paolo Franco Fantoni, Wirescan's LIRA (Line Impedance Resonance Analysis) technology was designed for non-destructive cable testing in nuclear power plants. It is now used across industries, including for monitoring subsea cables in offshore wind farms.
Alongside this investment, Wirescan has expanded its management team. Jo Inge Buskenes has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing experience from the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment. Artem Lytkin joins as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, including roles at PGS, Aker Solutions, and SLB.
