The Japan Wind Power Association has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Taiwan Offshore Wind Industry Association to promote cooperation in the offshore wind sector and support industry development across Asia.
The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration aimed at accelerating offshore wind deployment, advancing technology, and reinforcing supply chain networks in Japan and Taiwan. Both associations will focus on developing business opportunities, enhancing supply chain partnerships, exchanging knowledge and experience, and jointly organising seminars, workshops, and site visits. The Memorandum of Understanding is valid until 31 December 2027 and will automatically renew every two years unless either organisation provides written notice to terminate.
