MEASNET, the International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes, has announced the addition of two new members in the competence area of power performance: Dekra Industrial Inspection and Aresse Engineering. Both companies, based in Spain, were formally welcomed at the 21st MEASNET Council of Members meeting held on 3 April in Madrid.
Aresse Engineering, already a member since 2016 in the acoustic noise competence area, is expanding its role within the organisation by joining the power performance group. Dekra Spain has successfully completed the required technical assessment process over recent months to gain membership.
MEASNET now includes 16 recognised laboratories offering power performance testing, with a total of 29 members from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
