Cerulean Winds, the lead developer of a 3GW UK floating offshore wind project, remains on track for operation before 2030 following the successful completion of offshore surveys in 2024. FabricAir’s BorealisWind Ice Protection System (IPS) has been selected by Pattern Energy to mitigate icing risks and maximise energy production for 15 wind turbines at the Mont Sainte-Marguerite wind farm in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. The BorealisWind IPS is designed to prevent damaging ice build-up on turbine blades, ensuring consistent energy output even in harsh winter conditions.
