Ammonit has announced the new data logger series Meteo-40 life. Meteo-40 can be used for wind site assessment, wind farm monitoring, climate research as well as solar assessment and solar monitoring.
Ammonit provides three configurations of Meteo-40: Meteo-40S (small), Meteo-40M (medium) and Meteo-40L (large). In order to record a complete 1sec data measurement campaign (at typical number of sensors) the data logger has a memory of up to 2 GB. Furthermore, Ammonit equipped Meteo-40 with up to 35 channels – digital channels, high sensitivity analog input and an RS-485 bus to connect 8 smart sensors parallel. Additionally it delivers precise resolution with 16 bits, 8Hz. Information between data logger and local PC is exchanged via HTTPS connection, email, satellite or direct interface. Meteo-40 offers a web interface to access data or modify settings with web-enabled devices.
