BlueFloat Energy has selected Global Maritime’s OPSIM software in order to be able to simulate their offshore wind projects for evaluation of risk and comparison of different operational strategies during the development and execution phases of their offshore wind projects. Developed in-house, over the last 10+ years, GM OPSIM is an operational planning tool that uses discrete event simulation techniques for project analysis. Headquartered in Spain, BlueFloat Energy is a developer with a global portfolio of 32.4 GW of both fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind projects.
