Cadeler’s newbuild wind installation vessel Wind Ally has completed a successful mobilisation at the Huisman facility in Xiamen, China, where new mission equipment was installed, commissioned and tested, including the monopile gripper, storage and upending system.
The vessel is now en route to Europe and will soon be ready to start work on the Hornsea 3 foundation campaign. This will be Wind Ally’s first project following delivery ahead of schedule. Wind Ally is the first of three newbuild A-class vessels to join the Cadeler fleet.
