Enercon has signed a supply contract with Turkish energy producer Enerjisa Üretim for the delivery of the first E-175 EP5 turbine destined for the international market.The E-175 EP5 sold to Enerjisa Üretim is intended for the Bandirma Energy Base project in Balikesir province, Türkiye. The turbine has a rated output of 6 MW and a rotor diameter of 175 metres. It will be erected on a steel tower with a hub height of 132 metres. The prototype is currently being installed in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, while series production is being prepared at Enercon's production sites.
