A 1000-tonne Modulift spreader beam has been used in a proof load test in Germany. During the test, two cranes lifted a combined load of 1,125 tonnes, exceeding the beam's 1000-tonne working load limit to verify its structural integrity and performance under proof-load conditions.
The MOD 800J/1000 spreader beam, supplied by LGH Europe, was selected for its lifting capacity and its ability to distribute loads across multiple lifting points, ensuring controlled load transfer between the two cranes throughout the lift.
